Teddies have a new home!

Having spent the last two years operating from a temporary location in the Cullen Nursery, we are delighted to announce that from the 21st of October 2024, the Teddy Bear Group will be back home in Buckie.

Teddies have secured exclusive use of a bespoke building at the Marchmont Business Park, where we will be better able to provide much-needed care for local children with Additional Support Needs.

  • Coast 2 Coast Cycle Event

    After eight months of fundraising, six months of training and three days of fun, pain and exhaustion, the 2025 bp Coast-2-Coast event finally concluded.

    Fifteen gallant cyclists set out to raise funds for the Teddy Bear Playgroup during this 234-mile cycling event.

    When the dust settled and their rashes had abated, between them they had raised a mighty £38,000 for the group!

    These funds were almost immediately used to purchase a minibus for Teddies (The “Teddies Tourer”) which is being used to transport children to the group who would not otherwise be able to accept a place or attend their allocated sessions.

    “Totally worth it!” said Steve, one of the Teddies cyclists. “I enjoyed it so much I’ve just gone and bought another bike!”
